7801 Goretti (1996 GG2) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on April 12, 1996 by Luciano Tesi and Andrea Boattini at San Marcello. It is named after the Italian amateur astronomer and prolific discoverer of asteroids Vittorio Goretti.[1]
